General
The Rangee M-Model is an appliance that is used for mobile access to
Server applications through the integrated Wireless LAN.
Hardware
The M-Model is ventilation free (passive cooling) and contains no moving
parts. It offers an integrated Wireless LAN interface for communication.
The onboard video chip offer a resolution of 800 x 600 Pixel with 16
bit colour depth on the 8.4 inch Touch Screen display and integrated
Softkeyboard control.
Hotkeys allow fast and comfortable switching between applicatons and
softkeyboard. The appliance can be charged and used in stationary
operation through the additionally supplied base station. The appliance has USB ports for external input devices
like Keyboard and Mouse connections.
The pre-installed multimedia software offers sound
recording and playing. The appliance is an ideal choice for workingplaces, where
high mobility and also application for speech documentation,
picture and sound controlled presentations is needed, e.g in museums and hospitals
Software
The M-Model is supplied with the operating system Microsoft Windows CE.Net 4.2. All appliances are equiped with the
current ICA and RDP Client.
Remote Management
The M-Model is supplied with Remote Mangement Software,
which allows updating the Firmware of the appliance.
Warranty
The M-Model is offered with a two year warranty, which can
be renewed at any time. Rangee GmbH offers a five year maximum warranty period.
A two year software subscription is also included in the selling price. Customers will receive
software updates within this software subscription. This keeps the software in
the Thin Client always up-to date. Software subscription be renewed at any time.

- SHG-1: Hardware Warranty / Software Subscription renewal for one year (15% of selling price)
- SHG-2: Hardware Warranty / Software Subscription renewal for two year (20% of selling price)
- SHG-3: Hardware Warranty / Software Subscription renewal for three year (25% of selling price)
